This is a community for fans of the Japanese all-female Takarazuka Revue.
Some posts may be friends-only, so if you want to see all the Takarazuka-goodness we have to offer, join today ;)
Posting Rules - YOU MUST READ THESE! Failure to abide by these rules will result in a ban from the community.
01. No trade discussion on the community. If you want to trade, do it through your private journal, but do not advertise for it here. I hate to start banning people but I'm not afraid to do it. If you are selling things via ebay or whatever (and the items you are selling are legit.. not some burned DVD copies or something along those lines) then you may post about it here.
02. Images posted in the community must be sized no larger than 300x450 or 450x300 and put under a friends lock. If you want to put a watermark or tag on your images, feel free to do so. I chose this file size because I think it's large enough for us to all properly swoon over the hotness in the picture, and small enough so they're not stolen for LJ layouts or whatever.
What's the big deal with sharing magazine scans, program books, photography books, etc..? To many fans, it's not a huge deal and people are making a huge fuss over nothing. But to the Hankyu Corporation and the Takarazuka Revue it IS a big deal, which is why I'm insisting on graphic size and the lockdown. I don't want to have to forbid the posting of any photos except what Hankyu provides us on their website, but - again - if it comes down to it, then I will. If you're pissed off because you want to share your scans with the world, I'm sure you can find other places to post them, like your own journal. It just can't happen here anymore.
*** as a side note, you CAN find lots of photos from Takarazuka performances via the Stage Graph. If you'd like to find a specific stage graph, feel free to post here and someone may point you in the right direction. But you can not ask for program book/le cinq/magazine, etc.. scans.
03. No requests for mp3s or video clips. If you want the soundtrack, buy it. If you can't afford to pay full price for a soundtrack or DVD, do some surfing on the net - you will find people who are thinning out their collections and may have what you need. On a similar note, there will be no uploading of soundtracks or ripped mp3s from the performances posted here.
Some changes have been made to LiveJournal, and we hope you enjoy them! As we continue to improve the site on a daily basis to make your experience here better and faster, we would greatly appreciate your feedback about these changes. Please let us know what we can do for you!
